Always, always, ALWAYS have a back up camera. You never know when 2,000 shots into the day your main camera will develop repeating Error 99′s and cease to function right before the most important 2,000 shots of your day. Have a backup camera. I don’t care if it’s an original Rebel (300d) that you got on ebay for $140. Have one. You need it.

Longboarding is a fad currently passing through the realms of the Hollister crowd, but Tim is pretty legit since he’s been doing it for 3 years. Also he can do tricks. I’ve been doing it roughly as long, but can’t do any tricks yet, so until I finish learning how to cross step I’m still in a bit of a zone between fad and legit.

Anyway, I can shoot and ride at the same time, so that has to be worth something. Here’s some shots Tim and I did tonight.
