a quick lil’ update
Shooting days at work always put me in a good mood. Actually being paid to do the specific thing I think I most enjoy doing is… satisfying. Just one photo, and some random stuff in my life.
First of all, it’s been raining here in SE Minnesota for something like 4 or 5 days. This is pretty rough on me, because I can’t go ride my longboard, and so boredom sets in. Also longboarding is my most steady form of exercise, so it’s unfortunate to miss out on that. The rain, coupled with the fact that Bioshock (it’s a ‘puter game… and supposedly one of the most artistic and story-intense games ever made) isn’t released until tomorrow, and you’ve got a guy going pretty stir crazy.
On the bright side, though, I’m starting to gain a little weight. Up until about a week ago, I hadn’t hit 160 pounds in over 4 years. Since I’m a solid 6 feet 2 inches tall (1.9 meters, for our foreign friends), that’s pretty lanky. While a few women like skin and bones, I assume most prefer at least a little bit of muscle, so it’s something I’ve been trying to figure out for some time. It turns out, though, that I to gain weight I need to do what everybody else does to eat it. Exercise, and eat better (also, admittedly, eat more, which is easier to do now since exercise apparently builds an appetite).
Wow, I’m a boring human. Work-related, I got to shoot a paint roller and some red paint today for Cenex. Some of the photos are very stock-looking, which is convenient since they were shot to replace stock usage for a billboard ad. Actually, I guess all of them are stock looking, but some are just a lot cooler than others.
That one is my favorite.
Moving on from work to personal… I’m annoyed with Italy right now because I was introduced to this really cool chick through a friend, and it turns out that yesterday she left for Italy for the year to study. I swear I have the worst timing ever.
