mugshots

I went to a program called the Mugshots Coffeehouse, that is put on by Winona State University. Saw some pretty decent musicians, and overall it was a good time. Tomorrow I’m leaving work early and driving to (sunny?) Chicago, IL, to photograph a wedding between my friends Sam and Rachel, so you’ll see another round of shots from Chicago pretty soon here. I’ve got to say that I really do like that town. Anyway, enjoy the ones from tonight, and keep fighting the good fight.

Oh, random interjection here. You should also all know that I’m redesigning my blog, and I’ve got a significant amount of progress done on the design already. I basically only need to throw in content for the About and Archives pages, and then actually create it in wordpress. I’ll be having some help on that, of course, but it overall I think it’ll be a good change for the site. It’s a bit cleaner, more easily navigated, and overall more professional (and Web 2.0) looking. Keep checking back for that soon.

Welcome to Chicago: Part II

More photos from my recent Chicago trip. I feel the need to get these on here right away, before I leave for Seattle and get backed up even more.

First, a quick series from the Bean. I know it’s a somewhat cliché photographic subject, but it really is quite a sight to behold.

I did a little structural photography at the Art Institute as well. That place is pretty cool.

Kids. They’re cute.

And this last, which I believe to be my favorite from the trip:
