And this time, not printing for myself. Nate Gill, a good friend of mine, is putting photos up at the Acoustic Café in Winona this coming month, and thusly needed some of his fine work brought into the world. If you live nearby, you should go see the photos in the month of May, and if you don’t live nearby, well you should at least check out his flickr page to see them in higher quality.

We went sledding today, and then afterwards came to my house and had waffles, hot chocolate, and played some Rock Band, looked at and printed some photos and generally had a great time. Took a few shots, although it was tough during sledding, because even at ISO 1600, I was still only getting 1/50th of a second at f/1.8 (which was one stop over, for the snow). All well and good, bu with an 85mm lens, it was tough to get sharp photos, much less to expose the snow high enough. So yeah, they’re pretty grainy, but it was fun anyway. Enjoy the shots.
